About

Michael is from Chester County, Pennsylvania. He studied Journalism at Philadelphia’s Temple University and began his professional career as a newspaper reporter covering crime, breaking news, and public affairs.

In 2015 he left the news business and got his first job in the tech industry at a small software company, where he held positions in quality assurance, support, implementation, and customer success.

In 2022 Michael joined the integration and automation company Boomi. It was here that he had his first opportunity to interact and experiment with AI technologies as he collaborated with colleagues who were innovating new applications of the quickly emerging Large Language Model (LLM) technologies like GPT-4.

In 2023 he obtained a certificate upon joining the first cohort of the MIT Professional Education course AI & ML: Leading Business Growth, a six month program designed for working professionals in the AI/ML space.
